How you do word "save the date" cards for a hometown reception only?
I am getting married in Maui in Sept, and the guest list is super small (just family and a few friends). My fiancee and I are planning on having a hometown reception a few weeks after and would like to invite the majority of folks to that, as we know most won't be able to make Hawaii. How can I word the save the date so that it informs that we will be married, and would like everyone to celebrate with us, after the fact? I'd like to do make it clear that it's just a hometown reception, without making it too wordy. Any ideas??
Say something like "Home Sweet Home! Please join us in celebrating our recent union to become husband and wife"
People do this alllllll the time nowadays and honestly, people are so happy just to be able to celebrate with you even if they couldnt attend the ceremony/reception in hawaii!!!!
