I'm about to buy a customized HP dv6500t series laptop worth $730. Is it worth the price?

I've heard mixed reviews about HP's so I'm kind of hestitant to purchase this. But I think it's a pretty good deal for what is in it. The specs are as follows:

To buy or not to buy? This is the question...

I don't think you should get it because I got a Gateway MT6840 for about the same price. The Gateway MT6840 has all of the specs above plus twice as much L2 Cache, twice as much Hard Drive space, better processor (Intel Core Dual T2450), more Graphics memory, and it's durable.
