What is your favorite wedding favor has been a wedding guest?
It can be anything, big or small, cheap or a bit expensive. I'm having trouble finding the best wedding favors for my guests, I have some things in mind, but I'd love to hear what everyone has enjoyed:) Thanks!
I think something edible also because it is very difficult to find anything to suit all tastes and you do not like eating something delicious! Also because I think a lot of couples can make their wedding a little too seriously - do you really think that all 100, 150, 200 people actually want to show their wedding favor, (Names and dates included in the right wedding colors etc etc) in their window or on your mantelpiece, along with the wedding favors for all wedding others have been? Sorry, but really ... Most favors ending relegated to the back of a drawer or tray of charity. So many favors are cheap and poorly future like anyway - and if you have lots of guests, is a really great expense and for what? Who's really seen them, except maybe close friends and family - and for how long? It's a bit of an ego trip for me. If it is really about the guests, why not upgrade the food or package drinks and put a sincere thanks to all our friends in the wedding program, which would probably be more appreciated and it would be easy to maintain. It's a bit like the whole concept of wedding gift list - couples say it is for countless toasters will not but what results you countless picture frames, fans, pairs of chopsticks toothpick holders, etc, etc? I've seen couples who suspect they may be trying to outdo others with favors bigger and better and I just think what that is? Will customers I most remember that? Something that is really sweet and staff is trying to take photos with all guests as far as possible, even if only for some group photos - The time may be missing, I know! And send a thank you card, handwritten with a photo of two of the guests smiling away, showing that they are enjoying the Bride and groom at the wedding. natural shots instead of posed down well too. A lot of couples seem to have only a photo of themselves and an appreciation form and return en masse around the world, which is fine, but imagine if a guest sees who took the time to take pictures with them, and when you open the card, which are smiling at them, you and your boyfriend, reminding them how much they enjoyed their special day and how to appreciate your staff to be there with you!
