Decorations Favor
getting married on a small budget want candy, silk flowers pedals, organza favor bags,tulle for decoration?
i am getting married and we are paying for everything. do u have have cheap decorations ideas? or party favors ideas? i was thinking small organza bags with candy also putting silk flowers pedals on the tables and for the walls some tulle. any ideas would help. i am also doing this all on my own. thank you soo much.

Here is a centerpiece using baby's breath and a bouquet using the same thing. It is the absolute cheapest flower you can buy! Then use a colored ribbon around the vase. You could use the same wide ribbon for a table runner down one way, it would be cheap and easy and then you wouldn't need other decorations.
Scroll down and there is a way to use tin cans for vases, actually it would be cute for a shabby chic or country themed wedding. I saw it in Southern Living magazine first

Then I like the idea of those clear glass stones the other person suggested. They are cheaper than tea lights and look nicer than fake rose petals. Although you could also use found objects, like leaves, river rocks sealed with clear sealant, whatever. Or scatter a few of these pretty flower appliques. You can make them yourself pretty easily and cheaply yourself by cutting out fabric circles and gluing them together but it takes forever.

I do think you could forget party favors, put the money towards something else. People just throw those things out usually.
